Danish Rock n’ Riot Grrrl A Mess guests Reeperbahn Festival this year with her fusion of modern indie punk with 90ties power pop. Following the critically acclaimed debut album WOMAN – NO MAN (2024), A Mess is entering a new chapter in 2026 with a series of singles led by ‘Save Some Happiness’ in Aug ’26 teasing a full release on German indie label Rookie Records in 2027.

Her debut earned international attention, heavy rotation on Danish national radio P6 Beat, and 5-star reviews from GAFFA, while outlets like VISIONS, OX-Fanzine, Loud Women and
Der Spiegel highlighted A Mess as a compelling new voice on the European rock scene.

With more than 150 shows across Europe since 2021, A Mess has built a reputation for intense, no-compromise live performances. Recent and upcoming highlights include Reeperbahn Festival (DE)
this year, Copenhell (DK), Waves Vienna (AT), SPOT Festival (DK), Nordklang (CH) and Arctic Sounds (GR).
In 2024, A Mess was named one of IMPALA’s “100 Artists to Watch in Europe.”

A Mess is led by Dorte Hartmann (she/her) on vocals and guitar, accompanied by Louie Dongsgaard (she/her/trans gender) on drums – a two-piece delivering maximum impact with minimal filter.
